16 Days of Action against Domestic Abuse

16 Days of Action against Domestic Abuse

Victims of domestic abuse are being encouraged to break their silence as part of an international 16 Days of Action campaign led by Public Health England.

The campaign runs each year from 25 November to 10 December. It aims to raise awareness of the various forms of domestic abuse and encourage those experiencing or witnessing it to speak to someone and get the help they need.

We will be supporting 16 Days by sharing information on our Twitter channels using the hashtag #16DaysofAction.
You can help us spread the message that domestic abuse in any form is not okay by retweeting any of @JigsawHG, @SupportByJigsaw or @caadv_uk tweets.

Jigsaw Support supports victims of domestic abuse in Greater Manchester, Tameside, Oldham, Stockport, Wigan and Lancaster. We offer counselling for families, intervention, housing, and refuge for women and their families, as well as rehabilitation for offenders.

If you are experiencing domestic abuse or know someone who may need help, contact Jigsaw Support in confidence on 0330 11 11 212 or email us at jigsawsupport@jigsawhomes.org.uk.
