New Charter Homes has opened a new weekly work club based at the Big Local Hub, Ambleside, Ridge Hill Centre in Stalybridge.
The first Work Club session takes place on Friday 17 January from 10am until 12pm and then it will be at the same time every Friday going forward.
It is open to anyone in the area who is looking for work, training or volunteering opportunities. Attendees are able to use computers and access the internet for free in a relaxed and supportive environment. They will also get support with the following:
- CV writing
- Interview skills and preparation
- Online job searches
- Starting a new business (with SUSSED IT)
The new Work Club is in addition to the existing club which takes place in Ashton-under-Lyne each Tuesday from 10 am-12 pm.
