The Together Centre’s ‘Mobile Meals to you’ service has successfully delivered hundreds of meals to Tameside residents thanks to the Jigsaw Foundation.
Volunteers handed out 560 tasty two-course dishes in just four months after receiving £9,460 in funding from the Jigsaw Foundation in July.
The meals are delivered weekly to residents who may be unable to leave their homes and it ensures that those who benefit receive a nutritious hot meal and see a friendly face.
The Mobile Meals to you service is available to all Jigsaw residents throughout Tameside and takes place every Friday between 10am-1pm.
