Celebrating Pride in Tameside

June is Pride month and colleagues from Jigsaw’s Bridges Partnership proudly attended Tameside Pride in Stalybridge last week and highlighted the vital work the service provides in the local community.

Jo Clayton and Keeley Mayers, Jigsaw’s CHIDVA’s, hosted a stall alongside charity Talk Listen Change to promote the services to members of the public and network with other agencies also in attendance.

The team also met the Mayor of Tameside and her consort and explained how our service supports all victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse, Jigsaw’s work with children and young people and the perpetrators of abuse.

Jo Clayton said: “Despite the rain and wind it was a very colourful and productive day. Attending Pride was a great opportunity to let people in our communities share their stories (as some did) and to reassure people that there is help and support available to anyone needs it.”
