Coppull Library gave a special thank you to Jigsaw Homes for Jigsaw’s continued support by unveiling a creative book bench for Chorley residents to enjoy.
The bench was inspired by the works of author Dom Conlon and was illustrated by Sarah Astbury. It was created as part of a project funded by the Jigsaw Foundation in which over £8,000 was given to support activities at Coppull Library including gardening sessions and arts and crafts.
The Mayor of Chorley Julia Berry attended the event alongside Councillor Alan Cullens, Jigsaw’s Neighbourhood Engagement Officer Tracy Townson, Friends of Coppull Library and several volunteers.
