The Together Centre charity in Dukinfield has been awarded £9,460 for their Mobiles Meals to You service thanks to the Jigsaw Foundation.
The centre provides support services for local families throughout Tameside to ensure those in need receive a weekly nutritious meal and see a friendly face.
Thanks to the service, 1,365 meals can be provided to people who may struggle to leave their homes. A two-course meals and a craft activity pack will be provided weekly by a team of grass-root volunteers who work at the centre.

We would like to say a very BIG thank you to Julie McGlynn and the Jigsaw Foundation team for helping us to deliver our ‘Meals to You’ project and for supporting us with this very much needed meaningful service. We’re very excited to get started!”
The Jigsaw Foundation also offers you the chance to win rewards through the Jigsaw Rewards surveys.
Any resident that has signed up to Jigsaw Rewards can take part in the surveys and earn points for completing them. These points are equivalent to money with every 10 points worth £1.
After receiving the results the Jigsaw Foundation team can then take action depending on the information and suggestions that they have received.
Since March 2022, the team has run a number of surveys with topics ranging from Scrutiny, Hoarding Awareness, Value and Transparency and Smoke Free Homes.
